Koh Chang Divers - 5 Star PADI Dive Center

Short version: You can’t choose a better dive center on Koh Chang for your first diving steps or to extend your diving experience. I made new friends and found another hobby 😄 Long version: My daughter (13 years) and I decided to take a basic Open Water Diver course during our stay on Koh Chang. After checking several dive centers, David (the head of the center) was the first to reply — and his response already included all the information I needed. The communication was clear, fast, and the arrangements were simple, with plenty of flexible options. He also offered us a very good couple price. The course itself, led by our instructor Damien, was outstanding. It never felt like “just a course” — everything flowed naturally. The theory, practical parts, and exercises were explained clearly and practiced in a relaxed way. Damien was extremely patient, helpful, and highly professional. He explained, demonstrated, and checked everything carefully. Truly born for this job. The dive boat is smaller, which is a big advantage. It’s not crowded, and we were often the first at the dive sites, without large boats full of people. We completed six excellent dives with a perfect balance between skill practice and exploring the underwater world. Thanks to the small group, it felt more like diving with friends than being part of a typical dive center group. All in all, these were easily three of the best days of our one-month vacation. Highly recommended.

David responded promptly and was very informative. I highly recommend Koh Chang Divers, they do 3 dives per day. I finished my Advanced Open Water Diver cert with Harris and Maik-they were both very helpful and I felt very safe with them! The staff are all friendly and love diving. They were flexible and worked with me rescheduling the course, as I arrived in country sick. They go the extra mile for you! There are few schools in Koh Chang but we choose Koh Chang Divers with David because he was very clear, precise and fast on responding. Also the reviews were quite on the side of what we were looking for. Our daughter had few months earlier done the Discover dives, and this time she wanted to go for the open water cert. David gave access to the online learning and videos so that from the first day she could go in the pool practicing. 2nd and 3rd days she did totally 6 dives. Which were fantastic. Special Hey to Quentin Dubois, her instructor who was particularly meticulous and kind with younger learners; my daughter’s buddy was an other young man:) Quentin had a GoPro and took some fantastic photos during the dives and shared with us after their dives. The highlights were the dives at the wreck my daughter said and by seeing the photos, I totally understand why :) As accompanying parents, we could go on the boat too, and could do some snorkeling while they were underwater;) The daily pick up and drop off @the hotel were just great as social moments as you can chitchat with the other divers of they day;)
