I was recommended to dive with King by Eddy from Cuban Classic Car Tours by Eddy and it was great. King was great and accommodated me last minute. Plenty of dive locations in the area. Looking forward to diving with King again in the future. Thank you for the hospitality.
Excellent Service! Great communication before and during dives, King knows the area by heart, and the equipment is very well maintained. Unexpectedly, it was an amazing last minute dive. Make sure you hit the spot Punta Perdiz where you …
I did around 12 Dives with King and his guides. Day, Night and Cave dives. His guides have a lot of experience and know what they do when it comes to diving, with the exception of their diving ethics in the interaction with marine life. Throughout my days I was constantly trying to stop my guides from constantly touching and catching marine life. At one point one guide even tryed to hold on to a turtle that we spooked after coming out of a cave, so i could get a better look. I did already read before my dives that the Cuban diving culture in that sense is very different compared to the usually more marine life conservative approach. Offloading the pictures from my guides GoPro, it was apparent to me that they seem to be behaving like that also with other guests (see pictures which are not me!) Still, I would encourage to go Diving with King or any ohter tour operator in Cuba and just make your expactions clear to them. Ultimately they do care about their environment and if they offer you to go spear fishing for example, EXCLUSIVELY hunt LIONFISH (since they are invasive and eat all the other fish larvae). They also make great Ceviche! I hope this post is not received as shaming anyone, but to help us preserve the still good looking reefs of Cuba!
