I dove with the King Andaman team in February 2026 and it was an amazing experience seeing Richelieu Rock, Surin and the Similan Islands! Special thanks to Mikey and also Meynell, who were really good divemasters and were really skilled in leading the dives, especially at Richelieu Rock which had usually strong currents. Definitely would go back next season again, as a smaller ship with less divers definitely offers a better experience for everyone especially here in Khao Lak. :-)

Great diving firm. I did two day trips with them and four dives. From payment to being dropped back at my hotel was very smooth. We had between 20 and 30 divers on the trips. I would normally avoid such large groups when diving however the dive centre was very well organised. Everything worked like clockwork and we felt safe with their guides (and not just a number thrown in the water with no care). My wife doesn't dive but came on the boat with us (at an extra costs). She commented how smooth everything operated and noted how safe the guides seemed to make it. She also noticed how well the boat team helped divers get ready, into & out of the water and where very alert - watching out for divers in the water at all times (not sat on their phones oblivious to what was going on). The dives were at Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, Ao Pakkad and Richelieu Rock. All are excellent sites. Richelieu Rock was very busy with other divers (apparently its one of the top 10 dive sites), however our group were well looked after. I wouldn't recommend the centre for snorkelling - they are focused on diving and do it very well.

A million thanks to Carlo for leading the trio of us..! Can’t have asked for a better dive master. Safety was his top priority and he never failed to check in with us all whilst making sure we saw the best of Surin islands and the amazing dive spots! Did my refresher training with him and he was super thorough as well which helped me gain confidence of being underwater and learning buoyancy control. Thanks again Carlo!
