Khao Lak Scuba Adventures

We had an amazing time on the Manta Queen 2! This was our first liveaboard and I'm very happy we got to have this initiation with this crew. Naido, our instructor, was great: he's experienced and fun. I felt safe on every dive and he showed us great marine life. We also did our nitrox course and Naido delivered a clear explanation on the essential to understand and remember which completed the online course very nicely. The boat crew is amazing: we were assisted on every dive to get in and out of our equipment and the water. While doing several dives a day, those details really helped me feel less tired and enjoy more the experience. Muay, our chef, was nothing but incredible: she's such a talented chef and a lovely person. We had a great quantity and quality of food! The whole crew really help to create a great and fun atmosphere between all the divers: we only stayed three days but we felt like enjoying time with friends and it really felt special. Thanks Muay, Lek, Noi, Baw, Piit, Fluke, Khao, Naido, Bank, Jordan, Em and Mandy!!! 🙏🏻

In late November (spent Thanksgiving onboard!), Khao Lak Scuba Adventures picked me up straight from the airport for a 4-day liveaboard to the Similan Islands aboard the Manta Queen 1—my first big trip with only 7 dives under my belt. After the adventure, they dropped me at my hotel in Kata Beach. Despite being a little apprehensive as a fresh diver, the crew was super professional and made me feel 100% safe every moment. Lead diver Peter kept everything perfectly on track and on time, while the hot sweet ginger tea after cooler morning dives was such a fun highlight. We logged 14 unforgettable dives in crystal-clear water teeming with marine life—easily the best diving of my life so far. The food was incredibly good and plentiful, and the vibe from the dive guides to the Thai staff was top-notch. Huge shoutout to my primary guide Monja Huff—what an incredible person who took such amazing care of me. Big love! An epic adventure I can’t wait to repeat—totally recommend Khao Lak Scuba Adventures!

Manta Queen 3 is absolutely fantastic! The experienced and humorous dive guides are sure to surprise and delight you, leaving you with unforgettable memories. The enthusiastic staff always greet you with smiles and provide top-notch service, constantly checking if you've eaten, drunk, and slept well. They even proactively help you with your diving gear before your dive, making us divers feel incredibly welcome. Since we're from Taiwan, the dive shop and boat company specially arranged for Ken, a dive guide from Hong Kong, to lead us, so we didn't have to worry about the language barrier. Ken is a very responsible and excellent dive guide, adept at observing the underwater world and guiding us to find both large and small creatures. Every dive was breathtaking! I can only say that Manta Queen 3 is truly amazing! Excellent value for money and highly recommended!
