Jukung Dive Resort Penida

I tried my first ever dive here & can I just say it was absolutely amazing & beautiful, my instructor, Mr Gerald, was extremely nice & patient with me, his instructions were super clear & helpful under water, I was able to see a lot of underwater creatures & it helped me enjoy the moment because he was constantly with me & that made me feel super safe knowing that he had a hold of me all the time, thank you so much Gerald, what an absolute pleasure to have had you as my first ever diving experience with & also you’re really good at what you do, see you next time again for a longer course! The ferry ride to Manta point & back was a little rough because the waves were crazy however the team was very calm & professional, they really knew how to get past such strong waves, very impressive! And thank you Jukung Dive, your responses were on time & fast, everything was seamless, will definitely recommend you for others to try!

My team and I came here for the DSD (Discovery Scuba Diving) program, and it was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Their hospitality is top notch — everyone made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. The only part that felt a bit serious was the paperwork/waiver, almost like taking an exam 😅 but I understand they do it because they take safety very seriously, which I really appreciate. I had my swimming pool session with Gerald, and he was incredibly patient while teaching all the basics of diving. Truly top notch service. On the second day, I went for my open water dive at Manta Point with Jessica, the divemaster. She was calm, patient, and very professional. I even saw manta rays up close — they were massive and absolutely breathtaking. All the staff and crew were friendly, helpful, and super chill. Overall, an amazing team and an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

The staff we’re extremely accommodating and amazing during our stay! We went diving with them. They setup a snorkel day to see mantas. We rented scooters from them. They we’re awesome!! Resort was quite new. We didn’t like that the shower sprayed everywhere in the bathroom with no separation. The resort was quite dead while we were there. If you’re into relaxation then this could be a nice place. We wanted more lively action. The laundry at the resort is done per item instead of per weight, which was weird. There’s an awesome view from the pool and resort.
