Juara Scuba Academy (Tioman)

Wonderful experience doing my Open Water Diver course with Juara Scuba Academy. As it was my very first time trying diving, I was a bit stressed at the beginning. Our instructor Imogen was very understanding and supportive throughout the way, which truly turned the learning into a fun & safe experience. I appreciate her emphasising on learning each skill “the right way” - which meant safety at all times as well as protecting the aquatic environment. Bonus: we were so lucky to see a turtle on our first dive. The corals and marine life in Tioman is just amazing! 🐠🐢

It was a long coming goal of mine to obtain this certificate and it finally came true✨ From the very beginning Juara have been so helpful w information from how to get there, packages to accommodations. The whole place was beautiful and comfortable, a much needed escape from the city. I was super scared and hesitant but thanks to the crew they made me feel so welcomed. Special thanks to my mentor, Cikgu Eyja excellent teacher💯 She's super cool underwater and I learnt a lot of skills just by watching her. Thanks again Juara, can't wait to be back !

I took the instructor training course at Juara Diving on the beautiful island of Tioman last summer. I stayed on the island for a month and a half, far too short. It was a unique experience: the diving center is wonderful, with direct access to the beautiful beach and many dive sites just a few minutes' boat ride away. The organization of the course and the dives were meticulous, thanks to the constant attention on details of the wonderful staff. A special thanks to my instructor, Imo, who is very experienced and completely in love with the underwater world. And a huge thank you also to the rest of the team: Eyja, Hassanah, Stefania, Eddie, Jared, and Hassan. Wonderful people and great professionals. I hope to see you all again someday, thank you. P.S.
