Jom Adventure Dive Center

I am a PADI qualified diver but wanted to take my 13 year old for a discover scuba dive so she could try out diving. Our experience couldn't have been better! Highly professional and such a wonderful experience. We saw barracuda, a black tipped reef shark, cuttlefish, a porcupine pufferfish, a hawksbill turtle and so much more! I was quite stressed about my daughter doing her first dive but she was really looked after so I was able to also enjoy the dive which was wonderful. Thank you so much Jom! Did my OW with Jom a while back in Jul but Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable and friendly team!! I had Mus as my instructor for Open Water and he was very professional and patient. Although English is not his strongest language, he is very patient in explaining the skills and he is very reassuring. Honestly I panicked and tapped out many times but Mus was very calm and reassuring which helped a lot. I then had a few more fun dives with Ard who was very knowledgeable and curious about species and nudibranches and creatures, hovering at many coral walls to spot the tiniest creatures which made me even more appreciative of the underwater world. Both Ard and Mus was very protective of the corals, making sure we are careful around the corals, not destroying anything in our dives (unlike many other dive centres tbh) and picking up trash whenever they can. I really appreciate their spirit and I do hope they can continue to inspire even more people who are blessed enough to dive and explore but also appreciate nature as much as they do! My favourite memory with Mus would be sitting by their hammocks and discussing what marine life we found earlier (especially since I brought no GoPro) and learning from that small flip card they have that had a snapshot of commonly found creatures in SEA waters. While with Ard, I really admire her passion to empower more females to explore diving. She even held an event to commemorate PADI Women's Dive Day with fun dives and cute shirts and hanging out with random women divers from many countries. Interacting with her was nothing short of genuine passion for diving and inspiring people. I missed these guys and I hope I get to visit them soon 🥹❤️

HIGHLY RECOMMEND 😘 Ard is honestly the best—super chill, skilled, and makes the whole experience fun yet safe! ( both us and our sea families of course) She was my hubby’s sifu before, so when it was my turn to upgrade, he makes sure I learn from the best! What I love most is that she doesn’t just cover the basics..she shares extra tips and makes sure you gain as much experience as possible, even in a single dive. And her sharp eyes, girl sees everything 😆 Just got my AOW cert and I’m so proud! The deep dives, buoyancy skills, and focus on protecting our beautiful sea life made it unforgettable. 🧜‍♀️🥰
