Joel The Diver

Hi dive friends, I have been to Indonesia once and I decided, to push my dive progression a little bit. I wanted to do the advanced open water diver, PADI. I went to a random dive center and I met Joel. I instantly knew, I need this guy as a teacher, he has great humor, paired with absolute unmatched dive competence. I told the school, I would like to have Joel as a Teacher. And that was the best decision. He did a great job in the water. No question, many dive masters or dive instructors do a very good job, but what was remarkable to me, is the fact, that Joel enjoys the dive experience himself so much, while still teaching on the highest level. And this absolutely rare, good energy will be transferred to you automatically, without any lack of felt safety or learning. I could tell many more examples, why I would choose him again, e.g. his knowledge beyond diving, his significant intellect and his extraordinary fine english speech, founded on being a good person AND a journalist, which makes any conversation a bliss. But the list is way too long and maybe has nothing to do with diving. CONCLUSION: A 100% recommendation for this professional. A "6-starer".

Diving with Joel was an absolute pleasure. We did a refresher course and he was very helpful, calm and patient. I felt safe throughout the entire dive and he was very professional and funny. Would definitely recommend him as an instructor if you want to be in safe hands and have a great diving experience.
