JJ Divers St Thomas

I had a fantastic experience with JJ Divers, also associated with Admiralty Dive Center. We were in St. Thomas at the end of December 2025, and I decided to complete my open water scuba certification while there. About a week before our trip, one of their instructors had a medical issue. Britt went well beyond what was required to get everything rescheduled, and the communication throughout was clear and reassuring. That flexibility made a stressful situation feel easy. My first day was a shore dive at Coki Beach with Mackenzie, who was knowledgeable, patient, and an excellent instructor for a first day underwater. On our final dive of the day we saw wonderful marine life, including a large turtle, an octopus, lobsters, etc. I completed my certification the following day on a two tank boat dive to a shipwreck and a reef. There were around ten divers on board, including my son, who is already certified, and my wife, who snorkeled. The dives were well organized, safety conscious, and still a lot of fun. Britt was terrific in walking me through the final pieces of my certification, and everything felt calm and professional. Overall, it was a great experience from start to finish. I am very glad I chose to do my certification with JJ Divers in the USVI rather than in a local pool. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to learn or dive in St. Thomas.

I am a captain and own a dive charter in SW FL. So my expectations for a dive charter are pretty high to say the least. I will say from the communications from the initial call to ask questions to the communication on dive day was excellent. I was picked up at my port, taken to the dive boat, met at the boat where all my rental gear was already set, had a great 2 tank dive and taken back to my cruise ship port at the stated times. I definitely recommend 100% using this dive charter when you visit St Thomas. And let me say that these are easy dives. Unless you just absolutely have to have your own gear for some reason just bring your own mask and rent the gear for $10. So much easier to just walk on and off the boat without a ton of gear. Also they have a very nice bathroom with 2 showers and nice clean towels on site. Thanks for a great excursion!!!!!!!
