Our stay at Jawakara Maldives was simply exceptional. From the moment we arrived in Maldives, everything was seamless, well organized, and thoughtfully executed. The villa was spacious, beautifully designed, and perfectly maintained, offering privacy and total relaxation. The restaurants delivered outstanding quality and variety — every meal felt like a fine dining experience. The spa was equally impressive: peaceful atmosphere, highly professional therapists, and truly rejuvenating treatments. What truly elevated our stay was the service. A special thank you to our host, Bijay, who made everything effortless. Always attentive, proactive, and genuinely caring, he ensured our vacation was smooth and unforgettable. Jawakara is not just a resort — it’s a complete experience done right. We would absolutely return.

We stayed at a Mabin Water Villa and everything was absolutely perfect, from the warm hospitality to the high standards of cleanliness. Mohamed, who took care of us throughout our stay, was extremely attentive to all our needs and always ready to help with any information or requests. His professionalism truly made a difference and made us feel very well taken care of. If you are traveling as a family with a child, I would recommend avoiding overwater villas, as the currents can be quite strong. I had read about this in other reviews and initially thought it was exaggerated, since we are all strong swimmers — but it definitely isn’t. If you plan to swim or snorkel, I strongly recommend always using fins to better handle the currents. We tried almost all the water sports and excursions (turtles, manta rays, dolphins), and I highly recommend every single one of them. They kept us fully engaged throughout our stay, and there was never a dull moment. The à la carte restaurants are outstanding. My personal favorite was Hideout, where I had one of the best beef dishes I’ve ever eaten. A useful tip for future guests: I highly recommend installing the Jawakara app before arriving. Log in as a future guest using your reservation number (if you don’t have it, you can simply email the hotel — as I did — and they usually respond within 24 hours). This allows you to book à la carte restaurants and activities in advance, avoiding any last-minute surprises or fully booked options during your stay. The only slightly disappointing aspect was the condition of the bicycles, which could definitely use better maintenance. While the humidity and frequent guest usage likely play a role, some additional care and servicing would significantly improve the experience. Overall, Jawakara Island Maldives offered us an unforgettable vacation, and we would gladly return.

Our first time visiting the Maldives — and as very experienced travelers who are used to exploring different destinations, we were slightly worried about feeling restless being on a single island. However, the moment we stepped off the plane and were welcomed by Rojila, we completely fell in love with the island. The water villa was fantastic, the food was excellent, the wines were outstanding, and the people truly made our stay unforgettable. The hospitality and atmosphere exceeded our expectations and created a truly special experience. One important observation that I also shared directly with Rojila is that the hotel should provide clearer information to guests about how to swim and snorkel responsibly without damaging the coral reefs or marine life. As a diver, I am fully aware that touching, standing on, or stepping on coral is harmful and must be avoided — but not all guests know this. Unfortunately, we saw several people standing on the reefs, and many corals had already died, which was very sad to witness. We all have a responsibility to protect nature, the ocean, and its marine ecosystem. The hotel has an important role in educating guests and setting clear expectations to ensure the environment is respected and preserved. Aside from this, everything was absolutely wonderful, and we are already looking forward to coming back. Extra thanks to Rojila, who did everything possible to make our stay comfortable and truly memorable.
