We are a couple of divers without professional equipment. Since it was our first time trying muck diving and macro diving, we were quite nervous at first. We were introduced to Jandri by a friend, and the diving experience we had here turned out to be the best diving experience we’ve ever had as a couple. Jandri carefully adjusted everything to match our experience level and preferences, and his skills were truly astonishing — honestly, good enough to be called world-class. Even though muck diving and macro diving were completely new to us, and we didn’t have any professional photo equipment, the dives were never boring for a single moment. Thanks to Jandri, each dive lasted over an hour and opened the door for us to an entirely new world of diving. The delicious lunch, along with the snacks and fruits prepared by his wife, were absolutely amazing. On top of that, Jandri knows everyone in Lembeh — from local tour operators to rangers. Through him, we were introduced to a Tangkoko ranger and an airport transfer driver, both of whom offered reasonable prices, kindness, and truly wonderful experiences. Lembeh is already one of the most famous macro diving destinations in the world, but we found ourselves promising to return because of Jandri. He also has outstanding underwater photography skills and handles the camera incredibly well. Next time, we plan to come back with our own camera. This was my second visit to Lembeh, and I chose Jandri Scuba Diving based on strong recommendations from two friends. At first, I hesitated because the price was slightly higher than other local dive shops. However, I can confidently say that there is no place on Earth where you can experience such professional macro diving guidance at such a reasonable price. The diving experience was easily ten times more satisfying than the dives I did at the resort during my first visit to Lembeh. Jandri patiently taught me how to use my TG camera, explaining the best shooting modes and camera settings for each subject. He also helped me with underwater photography by using different lighting techniques depending on the subject. I truly believe that no other guide has such deep knowledge of underwater photography or the ability to teach it so carefully and thoroughly. He also helped me fulfill most of my Lembeh wish list, allowing me to see an incredible variety of rare and fascinating creatures. Thanks to him, I was able to fully enjoy the beauty of macro life while capturing many amazing photos. I have experienced macro diving in Anilao, Dumaguete, and Tulamben, but this was without a doubt the best macro diving experience of my life. In addition, delicious snacks and lunch were provided every day. When I suffered a serious injury, Jandri and his wife went out of their way to get medication and personally deliver it to my hotel. Their kindness truly touched me. I highly recommend Jandri Scuba Diving and will definitely be back again soon😄
