Island Style Adventures - Maui Surf School Kaanapali

I had a private surf lesson with Chad and I had an amazing time. The lesson was chill and with some pushes I caught a lot of waves. I’m very thankful for Chad as he was very patient and erased all my fears about surfing the first time. The session was eventually lumped with an ongoing group lesson and my instructor was double booked near the end. The session was supposed to be for 1.5 hours. Within an hour he said my session was over.. thankfully he let me go back in for another wave. But his other class overlapped with my private session. Overall extremely positive and I’d appreciate more effort for seamless logistics.

Thank you Nick for having by me. After two other companies cancelled because of various reasons, Nick, fit me on my last day. My instructor was Currant who was an absolute dream. He was patient, kind, thorough, and held my down in the water. He made my surf lesson better than i could have imagined and now I know why the others were cancelled. Would take 100 lessons with Curran if I could. Highly recommend— small family owned business. They made my last day in Maui amazing.
