We highly recommend them for snorkeling! Over a long holiday weekend we did bring our family of 6 (includes 4-teens). The tour guide did take us to 3-locations for snorkeling. First stop way by the white light house. So many vibrant fish that we viewed! Coral present. Guides gave very specific instructions stating which way to swim and keeping us informed on which direction the current was. Seconds stop, seeing “fish homes” that was installed by the government. Fish at this location was not vibrant like the first location. Third location was the underwater museum and bug (vehicle) that you can see! We were able to see a sea turtle and stingray as well. The water heading to this location was so turquoise blue!!! Heavenly to say the least. After snorkeling, the captain met someone at the dock (when we were heading back) for fresh ceviche guacamole, pico and chips. Tasty treat!!
First class service with a first class staff! Diego and Alexa were awesome crew to take us on our snorkeling adventure. All of the snorkeling spots were incredible and we never felt rushed at all. The margaritas on board and snacks …
Booked a snorkelling excursion via TripAdvisor, and this is the meeting point for the experience. Overall it's really good and is worth the money. We had 11 of us on a boat, started with MUSA > Manchones Reef > El Farito (Lighthouse Reef) Shout-out to the guides and captain who we're flexible enough to get a family back to the pier halfway through as some of them are feeling sea-sick and tired, without cutting the experience short. They dropped some of the participants back and drove us out towards the last reef site - Lighthouse Reef after so that those who want to snorkel some more and get to see the final site. The fish and rice dish in a cafe restaurant after the experience is also really nice. You WILL want to eat after all the swim I assure you. It's great that this all goes back to the locals and their businesses. They did not give us fins to swim with, only masks and snorkel tubes - as some others mentioned in their reviews. It's not too bad in the latter reef sites as it's calmer, but I definitely think ppl who are not super used to swimming oral are snorkeling first time will struggle to keep up. The guide did not serve the Margarita on the boat, only took a bottle out a few times towards the end of the experience after we've completed all the snorkel sites, but it's unclear if we can ask for it to be served or if he's just kidding? Ppl were laughing it off... quite sad that we didn't get to try it given it's supposed to be included. One suggestion tho is to change the ordering of the sites we're visiting - start with Lighthouse and end with MUSA instead of the other way around. They started with MUSA which is the furthest (so understood logistically why they planned this) BUT it's also the rockiest, much larger waves, much deeper, a much more challenging swim - feel like alot of ppl tired themselves out Overall, I'd recommend anyone who has snorkelled before and are comfortable swimming sort of unguided / without much assistance to book this experience. Great value, great experiences, kind and thoughtful staff. Would recommend!
