My 14-year-old daughter and I completed our SDI Open Water certification dives with InDepth Watersports in Grand Cayman, and the experience was fantastic. We chose InDepth because they’re an SDI shop recommended by our dive shop back home in North Carolina. We completed the eLearning and pool training at home, so we just needed the open water dives for certification. Communication before our trip was excellent and everything was very easy to coordinate. Our instructor Rumy was amazing—calm, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. She made us feel comfortable right away while still making sure we completed the skills needed for certification. The dive site was perfect for training with an easy shore entry and beautiful reef along the mini wall. Over our four dives we saw a seahorse, two eagle rays, a green moray eel, tarpon, and tons of fish and coral. Rumy was incredible at spotting marine life! Nat, the owner, and the entire team were professional, friendly, and great to work with. If you’re looking for a professional, safety-focused scuba diving shop in Grand Cayman, I highly recommend InDepth.
