Amazing!!! Took both my sons, middle schoolers, for a private lesson. They never surfed. One did not care to do it, the other one refused to even consider it. Fast forward few hours and both of them are swearing this is the best thing they did the entire vacation!!! The managed to stand up on their boards, catch some waves, and have a great time. Great school and great instructors!!! Nicest people ever!!!!!!! 100% recommend this school!!!

Driving up, it looked a little barebones, but honestly, they have everything you need (including a freshwater rinse) for a reasonably priced surf rental. We got 4 boards for 2 hours, and they had a good mix of hard top and foamies, so you can get what you're looking for! It was a pretty laid-back experience, on the whole, so it might not be great for true beginners who need a lot of hand-holding (although they might offer lessons, in that case!) but it was located in front of a surf spot, so it couldn't be easier—though you will have to paddle out to get to the break.
