Had a very relaxed stay at Happy Gecko. My girlfriend got het Padi license here and we went diving together. The food is out of this world and the menu varies daily. The rooms are nice but you have to be prepared to encounter some insects, but that's part of the game I guess. Furthermore I recommend renting a bike to go see the rest of the island. There's not so much going on but it's nice to check out the vibe/surroundings.

It’s unapologetically basic but it’s gets the job done very well. The hosts are fantastic, the team is great and the diving is something else. No air conditioning or hot water. Wifi in public areas only. Food is warm, wholesome and filling. What else would one need! I would love to be back someday.
