Marina Hamata is a small port for boats. It is the starting point for many excursions, including Sataya and Hamata Atoll. The processing of formalities is typical of the country and takes a long time before you can leave. The state of the infrastructure is deplorable, but that's not a problem. What's heartbreaking is the incalculable amount of plastic and garbage littering the area around the port - it's very dirty. The local employees are very nice and I love Egypt very much.
