Haliotis - Dive Center Mindelo

We went with Haliotis for two dives (half-day excursion by boat) and for a snorkelling trip with turtles. On both occasions, we had an amazing time, marine life in São Vicente is so rich and beautiful, and still quite "untouched" compared to many other places. It was definitely the highlight of our holiday! Filipa and Fabio are incredibly professional, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The centre is located inside a hotel, it's well equipped, and it's everything very well organised, from the transport to the equipment rental. If you are in São Vicente, this is definitely an experience not to miss (even if you don't have your diving license yet)!

Very happy with my two boat dives today - shout out to all at Haliosis, and in particular to Pipa our knowledgeable and super-helpful dive-guide. Good comms before the day and clear pricing. Pay cash to avoid the card payment surcharge 😀 I felt the cold a little on the first dive so the team found us hoods for dive two - that sorted it. The team did all the moving of kit around, for which thank you. The kit was in good condition - simple instrumentation (air pressure only) with all the other info on the guide’s dive computer. Good briefings before each dive, and easy recovery to the big RIB via the s/steel boarding ladders. Lots to see during the dive!
