Haliotis Dive Center Faial

Amazing diving experience with Haliotis. Knowledgeable, friendly staff making the experience even more enjoyable. The skipper showed us pods of dolphins and whales on route to dive sites too! Shark diving was amazing! Thank you so much.

We had such an amazing experience diving Princess Alice with Haliotis Dive Center!! They had booked us onto the dive trip last minute and even chartered an extra boat so that we’d be able to join. Our dive guide Marisa was awesome and gave us such a personalized experience diving with the Mobulas! I highly recommend them if you’re looking to dive in Horta!!

Like the Peniche Haliotis this is a very skilled and nonetheless siimpathetic diving club (in Faial). They do nearly everything for you from carrying your tanks (including in-water ungearing) to offering water between dives and the traditional Pastel de Nata after the conclusion of the Dive day. The center itself is a bit narrow and the lack of showers (differing from Peniche só conveniently equipped) is to be improved. The diving sites are very good in general, beyond the well known Condor and Princesa Alice, Entre Montes offers good spots for photos. Very friendly staff, Barbara, Patricia, Gabriel, Daniel and the special mention for Luiz and his Eagle 's eye to spot Dolphins during the longer journeys . Loved my experience with buddies Joao and Manoel as well as Mariana, Paula and all the other joyful divers' crowd
