Very bad diving experience here. They did not consider safety at any point during the dive. The instructor did not carry out any checks to make sure we had correctly set up our equipment, and as a newly qualified open water diver, I found myself having to advise the other divers in the group on where to store their alternate regulator and assist them in fitting their BCD’s, a job which should have been carried out by a far more experienced instructor. Not only this, during the dive, the group was taken too deep for their ability level, and we were not offered the hire of dive computers to keep an eye on depth ourselves. The worst bit came when the instructor allowed two divers to run out of air, meaning I had to share my air with another woman. I was even more appalled when the instructor suggested we continue the dive whilst sharing air, leaving me and another diver at the surface as we did not have enough weight to descend, whilst she and one other descended to 5m to complete their safety stop. Once they resurfaced, we were told we had to swim to the shore. Having not been able to complete a safety stop myself, I was pretty upset when the instructor descended alone to 5m to further complete her own stop. I was so upset with my experience, I left after the first dive of the day, and was still charged the same amount of money for 2 dives, which I was shocked by considering the standard of the first dive and the fact that I did not even do the second dive. I would not recommend ever diving here, the lack of consideration for safety was shocking and the instructor was irresponsible at every point during the day.
