Me being an OWD scuba diver always wanted to try free-diving . Previously i could only hold my breath maximum of 1 minute. For me freediving was a challenge , experience and a path to surpass my mental capacity. When i reached out to Shubham (Freediving instructor at GoFree diving), he was very welcoming and very calm , instantly gave me a layout on how i can transform myself from scuba diver to freediver. After couple of breathing exercises and confined pool sessions i was able to hold my breath till 2 minutes and 25 seconds which itself was a big achievement for me. later after 2 pool dives I was comfortable in the sea. with Shubham i felt comfortable at sea and he didn’t rushed the training and gave me more than enough time for recovery breathing before going into depth again. I’m now freediving level 1 certified and this has been an unforgettable experience though reaching beyond 10 meters is still a challenge for me which I will improve with consistent practice and fun dives. That being said I would highly recommend joining free-diving course here and one more thing if you are interested in expresso/cappuccino like me then you can have the luxury to enjoy espresso after dives.
