Gili Scuba Diving

We completed our PADI Open Water certification with Gili Scuba Diving, and the experience was truly exceptional. What stood out the most was the incredible level of personal attention. Their one-to-one teaching approach made a huge difference in how comfortable and confident we felt underwater. At one point, we actually had four instructors for just the two of us, something you rarely see at dive centers. This level of support made the training feel very safe, relaxed, and tailored to our pace. Beyond the professionalism, the atmosphere at the dive center is amazingly warm and welcoming. The environment is cozy, friendly, and you feel included almost immediately. It never felt like “just a course,” but more like being part of a community. If you’re considering learning to dive on the Gili Islands, we couldn’t recommend Gili Scuba Diving more. 🐠🫧🐢🪸

I had one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life in Gili Trawangan, Bali! I don’t know how to swim, so starting scuba diving was a huge step for me. But thanks to my instructor, Emir, I felt completely safe from beginning to end. He explained everything patiently and professionally before we entered the water, and underwater he was constantly checking on me and guiding me. We dived to 12 meters for 50 minutes, and I didn’t panic even once. If you’re someone who doesn’t know how to swim but still wants to experience diving, this is absolutely the right place. Emir is calm, highly professional, and truly knows what he’s doing. This wasn’t just a dive for me it was a big confidence boost. Highly recommended! 🌊🤿✨

I had such a great experience with Gili Scuba Diving that I ended up sending this personal message to Emir, the instructor. I feel it captures my experience better than anything else: Emir, I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the way you’ve been as an instructor. I truly felt seen, validated, and supported. I was scared because I didn’t trust my skills after swallowing water on the first day and feeling overwhelmed. The skills we still had to practice felt intimidating to me, and instead of pushing us to rush through them, you took those five minutes we needed to go step by step, really integrate them, and build the confidence that later allowed me to even take my regulator out underwater to kiss César! Thank you so much for the calm and sense of control you transmit, for your way of seeing diving, and for the life analogies you shared with us. It really is a boutique school.
