From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at ease with the captain and crew, who were not only knowledgeable but also incredibly warm and welcoming. What truly stood out was the genuine kindness of Ms. Maurine. Noticing that I was a female traveling alone, she went above and beyond—personally giving me a ride to Dunn’s River Falls to ensure I was safe and comfortable. That level of care is rare and deeply appreciated. Whether you're traveling solo or in a group, I wholeheartedly recommend Garfield Diving Company. Had a snorkle with these guys and was impressed, I went back for a scuba dive. The boat driver was a legend. The snorkel instructor Antony was a legend. I had a beer with Antony after the snorkel and discussed the health of the reefs in Ocho Rios. Ray, the divemaster, was an absolute pro, a bit stern at first but I suppose that comes with being a divemaster dealing with beginners. For the record Ray was an excellent diveleader and gave me an amazing dive! I have no reason to write this review other than Jamacia and their people should keep their currency in local pockets rather than paying online to big corporations.
