It's a great hostel for socializing but not that comfortable for sleeping. The bunk bed creeks on the smallest of movement and the curtains for bed privacy is so loud. I stayed at a 6-person dorm with a bathroom and it's really well-maintained but the door slams because it's a sliding door and there's very little resistance on the rollers. It can easily be fixed by putting rubber stoppers though, I hope they can add that coz it's hell for those on the bunk across the bathroom. The staff are really nice though and it's very convenient that they have a pool, a bar, a restaurant, and a tour agency all in the same building. It's also a short walk to the beach.

Great hostel in the beachfront rooms, private and away from the chaos. Positives- + Location 10/10 + Staff 10/10 + Safety 10/10 +Cleanliness 10/10 Improvements- + Noisy aircon + Hard mattress Loved our stay, apart from the noisy aircon but was easily fixed when wriggled. Being heavier people the mattress was hard but for a hostel I was not bothered. Would 100% recommend this hostel and plan on visiting again with our children. Thanks Team 😊

I stayed at Frendz Hostel for three nights. The location was convenient and the atmosphere was social, and I met some great people during my stay. The common areas were lively and it’s easy to connect with other travelers. However, I had two very uncomfortable experiences. On my first night, a drunk guest from another room got into my bed while I was asleep and insisted it was his. On my third night, a woman from my dorm came into my bed completely naked, also thinking it was hers. Both situations were extremely unsettling and not something anyone should have to deal with while sleeping. Regardless of how social a hostel is, basic room organization and nighttime oversight are important. Clearer bed labeling and stronger monitoring would help prevent situations like this. I enjoyed parts of my stay, but those incidents made it hard to feel fully comfortable.
