We have been so incredibly lucky to get to take multiple 3-day sessions with Esteban, owner of this phenomenal dive school. We have taken a lessons and fun dives with freedive instructors all over the world and we keep coming back to him because he gives incredibly detailed and technical feedback after every single dive. He notices very tiny movements in your throat, ears, nose, etc and suggests small tweaks that have become absolute game changers in my apnea practice. If you are a new diver yes absolutely recommend Esteban, but even more if you have some experience and something is holding you back from progressing, I absolutely and aggressively recommend Esteban. We also brought some friends from the US who have never been able to equalize or pop their ears, even on flights, and after 3 sessions with Esteban they are able to fully equalize and dive!! I almost gave up on freediving because I couldn't get my ears to equalize, but Esteban refused to let me hit a wall. His teaching style is incredibly detail-oriented and rooted in genuine care for his students. He went above and beyond, troubleshooting my technique with a deep toolkit of exercises until everything finally clicked. To go from struggling at the surface to diving nearly 40 feet by the third session felt like magic.
