FreeDive Baja

I have to share the craziest story. My wife and I and 2 other couples rented a yacht for a day, and we anchored near Chileno Bay where we could swim and hang out. I was in the water for about 2 hours and got out to have lunch, when I noticed my brand new Rolex was not on my wrist. I immediately freaked out, tore the boat apart and realized the only place it could be was in the water. But how is that possible, it was a diver's watch, it was made for the water and I have swam all over the world and never had an issue. We called around to find out our options and a friend at the resort we stayed at referred us to Timo. A little skeptical, I thought to myself, what's the worst that could happen, it was already gone. We agreed on pricing and time, and my friends and I met at the marina the next morning. We met Timo and his friend Yann, another very experienced diver, and we headed out to the area where we were anchored the previous day. I have to say in the west or there they were so positive and had a really good vibe. Started to think this could actually happen. We found what we thought was the exact spot and we anchored. They immediately went to work by throwing a weight at the spot we thought it could be. They had a system to trace the sea floor in circles so they could cover a whole grid. No kidding about 30 minutes later, they came out of the water with the watch!!! I was blown away!! It would have been so easy for them to pocket the watch and say they didn't find it. It crossed my mind, of course. But they didn't, but inly were they as honest as they could be, they might have been more excited than i was!! They were wo proud of themselves, as they should be and i was now grateful than words can express. We ended up celebrating woth drinks and seafood and had a great afternoon together. If you are in the area and want our need anything to do with diving, dont think for a minute. These are the only guys to call! Experienced, positive, friendly, honest and fun!! Thank you so much Timo, and Yann, I will remember you forever!! Can't wait to come back to Cabo so we can do it again, of course a little differently next time, lol.

It has been an amazing experience training with Freedive Baja in the lasts years. I have been improved and getting more confident diving deep. Timo is a great instructor always cared and giving the best experience ever during the trainings and safaris. Definitely, highly recommended when you are in México.
