Flippers Dive Khao Lak

A few weeks before my vacation in Thailand, my sister searched intensively for a suitable diving school to finally make her Open Water Diver course. She came across Jörg and Flippers Dive in Khao Lak. Since her first contact with the diving school via WhatsApp was really simple and professional, I started to get interested in taking the course to. Couldn't have made a better choice from our side. Jörg is an extraordinary instructor, really good with different types of people, honest and passionate. The first practical expierience with Jörg was espacially exceptional. We did the first training dive for the Open Water Diver in a small lake where you already explore your sorroundings together with Jörg after the theoretical and practical skills are burned in. It's a great and safe place to learn and to get the confidence for the open water dives. To shorten things up a little bit. 10 great dives later my sister and myself had the Open Water Diver and the Advanced Open Water Diver plus some extra time under water in our pockets. Overall just great experiences with every one of the different diving spots. Without Jörgs passion for the sport I wouldn't have thought about doing even the first course. Conclusion: If you want to learn to dive, refresh/nourish your knowledge or simply experience great dives, Flippers Dive is the right place for you in Khao Lak. Thank you Jörg and stay as you are!

There are many dive centers in the area, but this one is by far the best in town! A lovely couple runs the place, and they go above and beyond to find the best option tailored just for you. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a personal and professional diving experience.

The best dive school in Khao Lak ✨ I did my AOW with Jörg and I can only recommend you to do the same - the gear is in great condition, the dives can be completed in the beautiful national parc and Jörg is a thorough teacher who focuses on each diver and their weaknesses individually. Under his hard shell is a soft core and he motivated us all to be more confident divers 🫧 And let’s not forget about Bo, the kind soul who’s the first to welcome you during the day, provide information and make you laugh! ☺️ They both complement each other very well and will do their best to make your diving experience unforgettable ☀️ They also helped me to go to Richelieu Rock with another company when „their“ trip was already fully booked which was really helpful and saved me a lot of (research) time! Can’t recommend them enough ☺️
