I had an outstanding experience learning to dive with Matthias at Meeru Maldives. As a first-time diver, I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. His teaching style made complex concepts easy to understand and gave me the confidence I needed to successfully earn both my Open Water Diving and Enriched Air (Nitrox) certifications. Matthias focused not just on passing the course, but on techniques that truly elevated my overall diving experience and comfort in the water. With more than 13,000 dives, his depth of knowledge and real-world insight made him an incredible resource throughout the training. The entire dive staff at Meeru Maldives is top class and played a huge role in making the learning process smooth, supportive, and enjoyable. I’m excited to continue my diving journey with the strong foundation they helped build.

Can’t say enough about Euro Divers at Meeru. Such a great dive team, Lexi, Oli and Becs were such great dive masters. Mostly drift dives with the current. Saw so many things, eagle rays, black, white and grey tip sharks, nurse sharks, leopard sharks, huge sting rays, lots of moray eels, so many different kinds of fish. We did 13 dives in the end. Just fantastic. Would highly recommend. We will be back.

Did my Padi Scuba Diver course with Euro-Divers while staying on Meeru Resort. Takes 2-3 days including 5-6 hours online learning on the Padi app, followed by skills lesson in the lagoon and then 2 open water dives on the reef. My instructor Bex explained everything very clearly and I felt safe at all times under her watchful eye. I also did a further 2 open water boat dives to 12m with an instructor. Amazing range of sea life spotted during our 4 dives including black-tip and nurse sharks, hawksbill turtle, pufferfish, marble ray. Such a beautiful place to learn scuba diving!
