Very organised and well taken care off Divecenter. Carlos our Guide and owner was amazing. Nuno the captain was super helpfull and took great care of us. We did 2 dives in the beginning of offseason and enjoyed the dives a lot. We definetly be back and highly recommend Espirito Azul. Thanks and a big hug!!!
We booked 6 dives with Espirito azul and really enjoyed the 3 days we spent with them. It’s a family business and the size is just perfect, no high throughput, just quality time. The diving sites offered very good visibility and variety, some of them were subject to currents but suit our level. Top mark for the description and drawings for the briefing. Special thanks to Zé and Joanna who accompanied us during three days. The diving center offers large enough changing rooms and hot shower after the dive. We recommend 👍🏽.
Instructors: 5/5 They are real professionals, which you can see in the way they help less experienced divers before the dive and their attentive surveillance during the dive. I also noticed their kindness and free-spirited nature. :) Equipment: 3/5 On the first day, I had a minor problem with a compensator. Another day, the hose of the first stage wasn't sealing well enough, so inflating the BCD was a bit slow, and it had to be changed. Overall, most of the equipment seems more or less well-maintained but also nearing the end of its lifetime. General experience: 3/5 The diving club is too rigid in its operations. I understand they have to consider the number of candidates and the weather, but I think they could be more flexible. All the days I was available had just a little wind and were sunny. Despite my proactive approach, I wasn't able to choose the dive location, and I only found out the dive location just a few hours beforehand. Unfortunately, they mostly do coastal dives.
