We booked a private van with a guide to go from Akumal to the Coba ruins, stopping on the way back for awesome local tacos and two beautiful cenotes for a swim. Nelson [like Nelson Mandela] our guide, was phenomenal. He was so generous to share his passion for the culture and history of the region. Booking everything with Eduardo was super pleasant and easy. This was one of the best parts of our trip and we would absolutely book with Edventures again! By the way i didn’t know they closed the big pyramid in Coba for climbing during the pandemic. We were very lucky they just opened it back up with new wooden stairs only a couple of weeks before our visit in December 2025.

We had an amazing experience with Edventure Tours today. They were right on time, and our driver and tour guide, Danny, were absolutely incredible. They knew exactly where to take us to avoid the crowds, which made the whole experience feel private and stress-free. We had a blast ATVing and swimming with the turtles it truly felt like they knew exactly what they were doing every step of the way. Lunch was also authentic and delicious. I honestly would never book another tour with a different group, this is the one to do. Great prices, amazing experiences, and Ed himself is so personable and welcoming, which is why we keep coming back year after year. Would recommend to anyone visiting soon! 10/10
