Ecodive Vietnam - PADI Dive Centre Nha Trang

I think for divers the experience is probably pretty good bc the get a good diver/instructor ratio. Also the guides are very nice and helpful and we also got a good explanation for our snorkelling equipment That said we went snorkelling and while advertised as a „small group“ experience our Ecodive group (five ppl) was simply added to one of the big boats from another provider including the ppl from that tour. So the „small group experience“ turned out to be very crowded and loud. Idk if sth was up with their boat bc on the pictures it seems like they have their own, smaller boat too??! We also had to wait quite long for the divers to finish their last dive and it got a bit uncomfortable being all sticky from the salt water. And we got stung a whole lot by sea lice which also seem to be a bigger problem in the upper water area (you can ask for vinegar though) The BBQ food is alright but I wouldn’t have needed it…we would’ve preferred just going home in the end. As vegans we got a different food which was nice (even if they initially forgot 😅) but the meat eaters got like 6/7 different things (including a bunch of vegetable and rice which we could’ve eaten) and we just got some noodles with cabbage 🙈 from our experience and observing the diving folk Id say go dive there but skip snorkelling

I had an amazing time learning how to dive with Quoc! He was an excellent teacher—patient, knowledgeable, and really made the whole experience enjoyable. Beyond being a great instructor, Quoc became a friend throughout my time in Nha Trang. He also gave me great recommendations for places to eat and anything I needed during my stay. I can’t recommend him enough! If you’re looking to dive or just want to explore Nha Trang, Quoc is your guy!

We had a great time snorkelling as a family with Quoc and the crew today. Quoc is a super lovely guy who greeted us all by name as we boarded and made us feel very welcome - his English as also excellent which really helped the day (we’re visiting from Australia). The second dive site was particularly lovely with heaps of different fish species, underwater rock formations and coral. As an added bonus Quoc picked us up on the way to the dive sites from the jetty on Hon Tam island where we were staying. I’d definitely recommend taking a trip with Ecodive.
