Initially, we booked a trip to the north tea plantations but this couldn’t take place because of the road conditions. Instead, Cokey planned an even nicer, tailor-made tour based on our interests. We really enjoyed our day with him as his English is very good, he knows the region very well and he has a good sense of humour. By doing this tour we learned a lot about the region and Indonesian culture.

The Wae Rebo experience was phenomenal. Ardis, our guide, was funny and super knowledgeable, sharing lots about the Flores way of life during our journey. He also arranged for us to be welcomed into one of the residents' home so we got to know them while they prepared dinner. Highly recommend the tour to anyone wanting to learn about Flores and its beautiful people and agriculture.
