The diving itself was outstanding. The dive master was professional and attentive, and seeing a dugong in its natural habitat was truly amazing, over a rare and unforgettable experience with our dive master "Nhel" 🦭 While the final stage felt somewhat awkward, the experience itself was genuinely valuable. For that reason, I sincerely wish this dive shop continued success and growth in the future! Good luck for you, the owner or not🤞🏻

I had a rare and moving experience seeing a dugong here, and I appreciated the small group size, the briefing, and the care taken to avoid crowding with other boats. After the tour, I realized there are some questions I wish I had known to ask ahead of time. Not because anything felt “wrong,” but because different guests have different comfort levels around how close and how active wildlife encounters are. For future gentle, low-impact wildlife experiences, here are some simple questions I will ask any operator (here or elsewhere): - if the dugong swims away, what should we do? - Do we stay still, or do we swim after it? - How close do people usually get to the dugong? - How do guides decide when to stop the encounter? - What signs do you watch for to know the dugong wants space? - how do you handle days without any dugong sitings? I’m sharing these in the spirit of informed choice, not criticism. This was a meaningful experience, and I’m glad to have had it.

I had a fantastic day with Dugong Dive Center! Since I was staying in Coron I had to take a trip across the island the morning of. They helped me in organizing everything and how to get there. Instructors and staff in general were very friendly, competent and open to any and all questions. Tea, coffee and hot as well als cold water available on the boat. They let you know several times beforehand, that due to sanitary reasons, they do not serve food on the boat and that they advise you’re being your own lunch. I don’t get what the fuss is about. Most restaurants sell takeaway options. We got into the water at three different spots, we saw so many turtles, all kinds of fish, and yes we managed to see a dugong wich completed a perfect day on/in the water. All in all, a great day! (Please excuse the less then perfect underwater foto quality, my GoPro has seen better days)
