Diving Koh Tao | Scuba Birds PADI Dive Center

recently completed my scuba diving course with Scuba Birds and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. My instructor, Damian, was very strict — but you quickly realise it’s completely for your safety. Diving isn’t something you can afford to be casual about, and he made sure every skill was done properly, every check was thorough, and every mistake was corrected immediately. At the time it pushes you, but looking back you appreciate it massively. What stood out most was how much confidence the course builds, especially for beginners. If you’re new to scuba diving, it can feel overwhelming at first, but the way the training is structured helps you grow step by step. By the end, you don’t just feel qualified — you feel capable. It’s clear they genuinely care about safety, standards, and helping people find their passion for diving. I’d highly recommend Scuba Birds to anyone thinking about starting their scuba journey.

My buddy and I did our Open Water certification with Scuba Birds. The whole experience was really great. Before arriving, the communication and support were very fast and helpful. The course itself was very fun, made so by our instructor Fernando. He explained everything very well and we felt very safe throughout the whole 3 days. We had a blast every moment. Would highly recommend!

I completed my open water certification with Scuba Birds and it was incredible. Very well organised and smoothly run by the team. Especially my instructor (Fernando) who was absolutely brilliant. He explained everything very well, and also made the experience fun and engaging throughout. I would highly recommend this company/Fernando to get your open water certificate for a great price! I also did a fun dive with Cameron which was unreal too. He was very professional, friendly and very safe too. We even saw a barracuda!
