Many of us - Diving enthusiasts are always on the lookout for new underwater adventures, and the Byron shipwreck offers an experience that is both thrilling and inspiring. My last months trip with a Cretan based “The Sea Lovers Diving Center” to explore the Byron wreck exceeded expectations in every possible way. From the moment my husband and I arrived, the dive center staff demonstrated a high level of professionalism, genuine warmth and friendliness. The facility was very well-organized, and equipped with well-maintained gear, making an equipment fitting a real breeze. The team was exceptionally knowledgeable about the local marine environment and most importantly the specific conditions surrounding the Byron wreck site. The Divemaster skillfully led us through safe passages, pointing out notable features of the wreck. The sense of history was felt everywhere, making imaging the vessel’s past life very easy. Every moment beneath the surface felt both peaceful and invigorating. Both the dive center and the Byron wreck dive delivered an outstanding experience. The staff’s expertise and care created a safe and welcoming environment, while the wreck itself offered a perfect blend of adventure, beauty, and historical intrigue. Whether you are experienced or new to wreck diving, I highly recommend exploring the Byron wreck with “The Sea Lovers Diving Center.” About a month passed by since the dive and I still cannot forget the wonderful atmosphere that this dive center had... Amazing diving experience with Minos. We made two dives with him as a diver, just the three of us and It was really great. The cave is beautiful, with a lot of life in it. The ship wreck is breathtaking and Minos makes great pictures that become great memories of the trip. Very calm and patient instructor for beginers like us, he gave us a lot of usefull tricks. Very welcoming, at the end he offers raki made by himself, olives + olive oil from his trees... And a lot of good recomendations for the afternoon. The beach nearby and the restaurant he told us about made the most perfect day of our holidays! 100% recommended.
