Good TEK diving option in Playa del Carmen with ‘VIP-like’ treatment. Camilo, the owner, guide and instructor is very experienced in TEK cavern/cave diving in Cenotes, highly skilled and with high standards of safety. As I went in low-peak season I was able to dive without other clients and the cenotes were all for us. His partner Vivi helped with photo/video and lights so there were two guides with me :) Ideal for those looking for a more ‘premium’ experience either in recreational or TEK training. Slightly higher price point than large massified dive centers, but worth the premium cost if you look for quality. I truly do not have enough wonderful things to say about Divers UnderGround. Camilo and Vivian were friendly, professional dive experts who took excellent care of me. They made each step of the journey seamless, from booking to picking me up at my hotel and ensuring we had all the supplies prepared. They took neat photos of me on their GoPro, took me diving in two cenote sites, strategizing to minimize crowds, then arranged for my Cozumel scuba dive with a private boat charter, instructors, and supplies. You would be hard pressed to find a superior dive shop to explore these world class sites! 5*****!! :)

Just back from an epic cave diving trip in Mexico, where I completed the TDI Full Cave Diver course with Dive Underground. Our instructor, Camilo, was phenomenal—expert, patient, and safety-focused. Our diving buddy Vivi was a gem, so kind and helpful, assisting Camilo and making us feel supported throughout. Together, they made the intense course on line navigation, gas management, and emergency skills engaging and achievable. The small group size ensured personal attention, and earning my certification was a huge win! Diving cenotes was mind-blowing—crystal waters, stalactites, and magical light beams. Dive Underground’s gear was top-notch, and Camilo and Vivi guided us through incredible routes. They handled logistics flawlessly and shared fascinating cenote insights. Tip: Bring a 5mm wetsuit (it’s chilly!). Highly recommend Camilo, Vivi, and Dive Underground for an amazing cave diving adventure!
