The diving: Diving in Lembeh is truly out of this world. Thank you so much to my guides James, Bill, and Christian (and Rico, Rei, Jordy and Agus) who are clearly so passionate about their job, very capable divers, and are absolutely incredible spotters - what they were able to spot just blew my mind over and over again, and Agus is also a marine biologist, and gave a presentation on Nudibranch which was so informative. Because of each of these talented professionals, I had the great privilege of seeing hatching flamboyant cuttlefish (I cried into my mask), mating blue ring octopus, mandarin fish, stargazer, hairy frog fish, Mantis shrimp with eggs, leaf fish, swimming moray eels, pipe fish, Lembeh sea dragon, bobbit worm, Shaun the sheep, devil scorpion fish, electric clams, giant clams and all the different types of: frogfish, nudis, octopus, including a female coconut octopus with her eggs, cuttlefish and seahorses, shrimps (incl harlequin and tiger) and crabs (incl paddle crab). There was a mix of muck and reef. I particularly liked the reef, and swim throughs and a bit of current for a challenge at Angel’s Window. I used a Dive Volk housing and iPhone 17pro to video and photograph ~ thanks so much to photo pro Ben Sarinda (Dive Volk ambassador) and Christian: with their help and guidance, I felt my video and photography skills really improved during my stay. On the boat the crew could not have been more attentive to helping you get in and out of the water safely and always smiling. I watched as my diving gear and camera was handled with great care which I really appreciated. I lucked out and had a private dive guide most of the time, otherwise the diver to guide ratio was only 2.1. The resort: I stayed 9 nights in the bungalow suite. The room was cleaned everyday. The onsen in the afternoon and a sleep on the beanbags on the front deck was the best recharge. Starlink wifi in the restaurant and lounge area worked well. The food: I eat plant based 🌱, and I was well catered for by the chef and her team with fresh tofu, tempeh and vegetable dishes. I also loved the spicy chilli sambal and local sambal Dabu Dabu on the table. Also the Manado porridge (a vegetable based rice porridge) for brekkie was awesome. Plenty of fresh tropical fruit and fresh juices available as well. I asked about sour sop because of its antioxidant properties, and they harvested some growing on the property and juiced for me. Thank you so much for that. Love that the resort is also plastic bottle free and eco conscious with linen and towels. Thanks to the owners Steve and Miranda for an awesome stay. I booked directly via email with Miranda (who also is responsible for resort marketing, and dive shows) ~ very easy and responsive communication ~ and a totally seamless Manado airport pick up at 4.15 am. 🙏

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the warm and welcoming staff, every single person went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The resort itself is absolutely stunning, beautiful natural grounds, crystal-clear waters, and a breathtaking black sand beach with vibrant coral just steps away. We were amazed by the incredible amount of sea life we could see around the coral, it felt like swimming in an aquarium! Our room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, with every detail thoughtfully considered for comfort and relaxation. The outdoor shower was the highlight of the trip, being able to look up to the night sky and see all the stars was incredible! We were so glad we listened to Miranda and Steve and added a day trip to Tangkoko on to our stay. It was incredible to see the vast wildlife including the Crested black macaque, Tarsier and cuscus. The overall atmosphere is peaceful and luxurious, yet so friendly and inviting. The food was amazing throughout the stay with a vast variety of homemade dishes with plenty of choice. We truly didn’t want to leave! I would recommend this resort to anyone !

For a well run specialised diving resort in my opinion Dive Into Lembeh ranks among the very best. My second visit to this resort is just as memorable as my first in 2023. My family and I were warmly welcomed by managers, Steve and Miranda and by the rest of the resort staff. The service we received were outstanding. All our diving needs were catered for.Once again I am scoring 10/10 for location, cleanliness, accomodations, food, dive team, supporting staff, and of course the excellent muck diving experience. My family and I will definitely return in the near future.Sincere thanks to Steve and Miranda for their warm hospitality. Nelson (UK) October 2025
