Daisuke organised a last-minute trip for me to swim with humpback whales during the final week of the season, a true legend! We spent 7 hours out on the ocean and were incredibly lucky to encounter a mother with her calf, as well as an escort whale. I honestly don’t have the words to describe what I felt swimming alongside these majestic creatures, but one thing is certain: I’m truly grateful to Daisuke-san for making this unforgettable experience possible. He speaks excellent English, and I felt completely at ease the whole time. I didn’t have to worry about taking photos, as he handled everything, which meant I could fully enjoy every moment in the water with the whales.

​I did a 2-day Humpback Whale swim tour with divefit in late February, and it was a truly magical experience. Since I don’t speak Japanese, I was worried about communication, but Daisuke speaks English like a native, so there were absolutely no issues at all. ​Beyond his language skills, his outgoing and kind personality made the entire trip so much fun. What impressed me most was that he isn't just someone running a business, he is a genuine diving instructor who deeply respects the local marine environment. It was an honor to meet such a professional. I’ll definitely be diving with Daisuke again on my next trip to Okinawa! Cheers!
