We had a great time on the whale shark snorkelling experience. Our guide suju was extremely professional and did a great job locating and helping us snorkel with the whale sharks. The lunch at Fenfushi was nice and we also got the chance to snorkel with sea turtles on the way back to hulhumale as well. Would reccomend anyone doing this tour,

They responded fast when we called them only 12h before we wanted to dive. They offered nitrox without us having to ask for it. They picked us up from our hotel on time. The staff was professional, funny and kind. We truly enjoyed our Shark tank dives and our day with the crew. There was no feeding involved and I could sense that they really cared for the animals. Thank you 😊

One week stay in the Maldives in February 2026, a good time of year to visit because of the warm comfortable climate. I booked a few excursions with Dive Club Hulhumale while I was here and I was impressed with the service they provided. The store is easy to find in Male, along the north water front by the jetties. Smart, professional looking store with friendly and helpful staff - which was useful because I didn't know much about how to go about booking these types of trips. The staff guided me through the brochure and explained all the different activities they do. The first excursion was an afternoon fishing trip out on the ocean. The boat ride was comfortable, just four guests and four experienced crew men. They provided all the fishing equipment we needed and showed us how to catch fish (I'd never fished out at sea before). While we were fishing the crew / staff were chatty and helpful, giving us plenty of tips and advice. After a while of mixed success we barbecued the catch on board the boat and returned to land at night. The whole trip lasted between three and four hours and there was plenty of great scenery for photography. The second excursion was the following day - scuba diving in the coral reefs around one of the nearby islands. I booked two dives which was useful because I hadn't done this before either. During the first dive, the instructor explained how all the equipment worked and taught the basic skills. He went through everything slowly and carefully and made sure I was confident and comfortable before beginning the actual diving. After some basic training there was time to fit in a dive down to around 12 metres. The instructor stayed nearby at all times and checked every few seconds that things were fine - obviously extremely important for a beginner diver. Afterwards, we went to a second site and spent the entire session diving in the reefs. Each session was around one hour. The third excursion was another scuba diving session, much like the second dive the previous day. Again, the instructor was always nearby to make sure I was safe and well and we spent a full hour under the water. Overall I've had a great time in the Maldives doing these trips with the Dive Club. They're very thorough with training, professional and patient, and make sure the customer has a great experience. They offer a lot of different activities and cater to beginners like me as well as more experienced people. Highly recommended 👍
