Yesterday my father, my brother, and I dove with Dive Center Mallorca (Tauchschule) at the Dive Center Robinson Club (Cala Serena) and had the most amazing time. We had the pleasure of diving Parque Mar with dive instructor Thomas. About 5 minutes into our dive we saw a large octopus, followed by 2 moray eels, multiple scorpion fish, and a school of barracuda fish. I have nothing but good things to say about this dive shop and the people running it. Our captain, Luca, greeted us with a big smile when we arrived and sized us for gear, not complaining once about our silly imperial size requests. I, a 24-year-old woman, made a request to my brother to assemble my BCD and tank as I’d just recently gotten my nails done and didn’t want to break a nail, ha! Luca without pause jumped right in and assembled my gear, joking that I should write in my review that their dive shop is nail safe—so, here I am: Ladies, your nails are safe to dive here! Our dive experience was incredible and intimate, with Thomas joining the three of us and the other dive instructors and dive shop owners, Natascha and Armin, leading two other small groups. With our group remaining small, we were able to see the marine life up close without large crowds blocking views or spooking the sea life. Maximo welcomed us back and helped gather our equipment, cracking jokes as he did so. To anyone looking to dive in Mallorca, Dive Center Mallorca is the dive shop to book.
