Devocean Divers Malapascua

I completed my Open Water Certification with Devocean, and it was an amazing experience. My instructor, Oriol, was extremely professional, patient, and supportive. He made sure I fully understood every skill by explaining and demonstrating them clearly, which helped me stay calm and confident underwater. The whole Devocean team was warm, welcoming, and very professional. After my certification, I did my first thresher shark dives, and although I felt a bit anxious at first, my instructor and DMT were very reassuring and attentive. They made me feel safe the entire time and ensured the dive was both enjoyable and respectful to the marine life. I also really appreciated how much they value protecting the ocean and interacting responsibly with the sharks. Overall, it was a fun, safe, and memorable experience. I’m very grateful for my training with Devocean and would love to come back for my future certifications. Highly recommended!

Dive Guide Jay: Professional and experienced. He has an incredible eye for finding macro critters for photography. He doesn't just look after you underwater, but also ensures your gear and comfort on the boat are well taken care of. Definitely a 5-star guide! Dive Center: The arrangements were quick and efficient. They provide reliable scheduling for every trip. Recommend: Highly recommended!

I had a great experience with Devocean Divers in Malapascua. From the first second I felt completely comfortable — everything was well organized and transparent. I'd recommend texting upfront so you'll be already on the list of divers. Only thing you need to do is leave a deposit and that's it. I've overheard them telling people around the weekend that they're fully booked. This way once you're in the system you've got your diving spot. The team was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and everyone was always helpful. I never had to worry about anything... Equipment in boxes on the boat, someone helping me into my BCD, another one helping me onto the boat after the dive and my dive guide even washing my gear at the end of the day. Thanks Quin 💜. Did ten fun dives together, and she's been good at spotting things even as small as pigmy squid and making sure I'm gonna dive with people with similar experience. This is not something every dive shop does and I'm super greatful for that cause it gives me dives according to my level of experience and I don't have to come up with half tank after 40 min. Overall, diving with Devocean was a great and fun experience and I would happily come back anytime not just for the thresher sharks but for the familiar surrounding.
