DEEP EMOTION marine

Toyo was such a great guide! Full service at top grade level. He came to pick us up at the hotel, prepared and handles all our equipment at all times (very decent equipment) and brought us to such great spots in the Kerama islands with surprise use of NOx 32% do we could minimize surface intervals for 3 dives, back at 15h00 to the hotel :) We were lucky to see 2 huge mantras for 20+ minutes on our final dive :D but besides he brought us in caves and channels which were quite impressive and comparable to Mexico's Cozumel! Turtles, sea snakes, parrot fish, tuna... I would have loved to dive with him for more than 1 day but my sea sickness always gets me. Amazing water temp between 25 and 27 dC, do no need for any wetsuit or shorty for me (from Canada)

I did the whale swim with Deep Emotion, and had an incredible experience. I highly recommend booking! I’ve heard that whale swims can sometimes be a little hit or miss, but we boated out to an area near the Keramas and almost immediately saw a whale. Multiple times we saw the whale breach and flip it’s tail what felt like right next to the boat. The way the whale swim works is the captain of the boat drives close to a whale, watches it come up to the surface a few times and then once it’s close to the boat, everyone gets in the water and watches the whale swim underneath you. A few times we saw the whale surface right next to the boat but by the time we got into the water we could no longer see it. However we had at least two times where the whale swam directly underneath us and we had a clear view. One time there was a mama and a baby whale, and the mama stayed below while the baby came up multiple times right in front of us. The trip is a lot of getting in and out of the water and you are definitely rushed to get into the water so you don’t miss the whale, but our guide made the experience as comfortable as possible by providing a hot water shower on the boat, hot lunch during a lull in action, and extra jackets to stay warm between swims. At one point I became very seasick but everyone was very helpful offering medication and water. Overall, I had an incredible experience and the enthusiasm and energy of the guides greatly enhanced the trip!

Toyo is an amazing scuba diving instructor and guide!! My friend and I got the NAUI certification and private dive lessons for less than at Kadena Marina. Toyo is the best and fluent in Japanese and English. I am booking with him to go to the Kerama Island and swimming with the whales too. I can't recommend him high enough for his friendliness, professionalism, knowledge and expertise. Thank you Toyo!!
