Deep Blue Dive Mexico

I got my PADI certification with Arturo and Alex. I felt well guided through the process and supported as I learned the large manual, performed my safe, hotel pool dives, and then allowed the freedom to do my first open water dive without feeling over monitored or overwhelmed, just guided, watched, and supported. I highly recommend the group, I got my cert, enjoyed my dives, and enjoyed Alex and Arturo’s company.

Excellent success with an excellent divemaster, deckhand, and captain. I felt well cared for and at ease the whole time. Personnel speak English and Spanish. I really particularly liked the pre-dive briefs-- they were more thorough than any other dive shop I've used. We got a review of hand signals, what to do if someone is lost, hazards to be aware of, etc etc. I know Puerto Escondido isn't necessarily known for scuba, but we went to 2 fantastic sites that were just as cool & fun as anything I've done in the past! We saw nudibranches, eels, all kinds of cool fish, corals, and really amazing underwater geological terrain. If you visit during whale migration season, you can get chances to get very close to humpback whales on the surface.
