CV Divers

Late Jan-early Feb, 2026, my husband and I dove with CV Divers. I did 10 dives with them and really enjoyed the experience, including getting one of my top three dives ever. A fish tornado at SW Pinnacle! Bottomline: We would dive with them again. Pros: Prajit was wonderful as a Dive Master. He’s relaxed but professional, and while a man of few words, his obvious experience and love of the area was clear. The dive boat is perfectly sized for small groups. Our largest group was 6. The proximity to Shark Island, one of the best sites on the island, makes for shorter boat rides and a wonderful dive site. CV Divers had well cared for equipment, and a smooth running organization we appreciated very much. Cons: None of these are about CV Divers, but about scuba on the island of Koh Tao in general. Be aware that if the water is rough, all the local boats from ALL the dive centers will be gathering at the same site to find the calm water. At many of the ‘next to the island’ dive sites, the coral is dead. Shark Island was great, and the sites a little farther off Koh Tao (SW Pinnacle and there are others) were far superior but those take longer boat rides/ planning/ and a higher level of experience is required.

My partner and I dived for the first time with CV divers and had the most amazing time on their “try dive”. Prajit was our instructor and he was very knowledgeable and explained everything to us in very clearly. He was great at checking in with us throughout the training and dive to see how we were going. The whole experience was so easy and fun. Would definitely recommend trying CV divers out for a chill diving experience. Thank you Prajit and CV Divers! 🤿🤿🤿🤿

CV Divers Koh Tao is accommodating, friendly and chill 🤙 Small classes are possible as do they try to arrange the setup around your time schedule, so you never feel stressed or in a hurry. Our instructor, Prajit, had the best way of teaching and we felt safe and welcome through the whole course. This was my first experience with diving, and Prajit dealt with me professionally and with patience. I hope he keeps teaching diving for many years to come!
