I choose Cthulhu Divers because they responded to my questions 2 weeks before my trip. I let Maria know that because my wife no longer dives, I did not want to spend more than 5 hours away. Maria arranged for dive guide Nick to pick me up at my resort and take me on a private trip. The included equipment was good and Nick was great. Because it was a shared boat, he let me know that we would drop in before the others and get a 60 minute drift dive. Because Isla Mujueres has a consistent max depth of 30', we quickly swapped tanks and were back in at a different location. Octopus, Green Turtle, Spotted Eel. I arranged for an afternoon dive 2 days later and got close to a Hawksbill Turtle.

Highly recommend the Cthulhu Team! Nick & Maria were absolutely amazing. Nick was very skillful, knowledgeable, and experienced (4,000+ dives), as well as he had great personality and shared several very useful skills with us. We got our AOW certifications, as well as had a chance to visit senotes with Alfredo, who was also very knowledgeable. The highlight of our trip was the dive with bull sharks, though. Overall, we did 9 dives with this dive shop, and we were very impressed with the service. Highly recommend it to everyone! Thank you! P.S.
