Crystal Divers - PADI IDC Center

Really enjoyed the two days of diving with Crystal Divers. Very welcoming, helpful and easy going. Feels like diving with family. We dived at Penida (3 dives, including lots of Mantas!) on Day 1 and Padangbai (2 dives) on Day 2. Hegi was a fantastic guide and really looked after us both above and below water. One of the best guides I’ve dived with (and an instructor so if you’re interested, look no further!). Recommended, wholeheartedly!

As a traumatised and high maintenance individual, I rated everything from this dive shop- like other people like me, I had reached out to most of the dive shop in Sanur before confirming booking; and this is the only shop that not giving me any pressure during my enquiries and usually offers helpful and clear instructions or answer pre confirmation. I was lucky enough to have Andrea and Charlie to instruct and accompany me during my first PADI, their patience, clear instructions and making sure I feel safe all the time has gone beyond my expectations. I didn’t have too many decent diving experience in the past but I’ve always wanted to attain a PADI, I m so proud and glad that I got my certification from BCD and with the team. Side note: there’s a 10YO boy getting his first PADI alongside me with his own instructor -Andy, we are both Chinese and I can say that this shop was trusted and rated by both of us. We spent a full week diving with Crystal Divers on Bali and couldn’t have been more happy and satisfied with the entire experience! Minni, the owner, had worked out a full dive safari for us, and from the pick-up at the airport to the drop-off and everything in between—including accommodation, transfers, multiple dives, and snacks/lunches—everything was flawlessly organized. Communication via email and WhatsApp was fast and easy, too. We had Crystal Divers arrange for accommodation, too, and the homestays were clean, in good locations and simple but good value, just what we wanted. We dove both in Nusa Penida, Padang Bai, Candidasa and Tulamben, and the dive school took excellent care of us. We enjoyed some wonderful dives at different levels, from easy reefs to fun drift, wreck and night dives. Our guide Hegi was with us the whole time, mostly just for the two of us, and always was very attentive to our skill levels and needs. Plus, he’s always wearing a big smile, speaks excellent English and is a fun person to be with - Hegi, thanks for everything!! The equipment was in top-notch condition, with quite new and high quality wing BCDs and good 3 mm wetsuits (the water can be chilly). Likewise, the dive boats were spacious and well equipped, and the staff very helpful when setting up gear etc. With 30 years of experience diving in Bali, Crystal Divers really was the perfect choice for us: a fantastic dive school that absolutely deserves coming back!
