Cozumel Dive School

I can’t recommend this place highly enough! I was so incredibly nervous to get my open water scuba certification, but my instructor, Nick, was incredibly patient, calming, and instilled so much confidence in me through the training that it ended up being one of the best experiences of my life! On top of that, they were incredibly organized and did whatever it took to get my friend and I out on dives together. We stayed at the school as well, which was incredibly affordable, comfortable, and we felt like we were able to experience the more local side of Cozumel with a grocery store near by and great recommendations from the dive school staff. If you’ve been considering getting certified, I would 100% recommend scooting on down to Cozumel and joining the crew at Cozumel Dive School, you will not be disappointed!

I was in Cozumel last week and signed up to go scuba diving with Cozumel Dive School. It had been 30 plus years since my last dive(took my PADI course in 1989)so Jon my instructor suggested a pool session as a refresher before doing a shore dive. The pool session was a great way to get comfortable with all the gear and just taking those first few breaths underwater. Jon was really patient with me and explained things that was easy to understand. Once he seen i was comfortable in the pool we hit the road to the shore dive location. Once there Jon once again explained what to expect doing the shore dive with details of the location,depths buoys markers etc.Really put me at ease to just get in there and enjoy the dive!! It was a great experience and we seen all kinds of different fish which was amazing!! Thanks Jon for making it so seamless. your the best
