Clearwater Fernando de Noronha

Best diving course I ever took; learned more in 3 days than in the previous 40 dives. Thank you, Tobias and Gabriel!

I went diving with Aguas Claras on February 2026 with 2 of my friends and I wouldn't recommend this dive center for any future divers. First of all, we were a very big group, with one instructor in the front that was diving and not taking care of the rest of the group. The idea of the dive was to follow him just like sheep follow the shepherd. 3 other DMs were around us just like dogs to keep us all together. It wasn't a fun dive, we were all next to each other, receiving fin kicks and bubbles from the other divers. Second, the big group didn't have the same level, and even if I have told the dive center before, they didn't care. I have more than 100 dives and I have asked to go on fun dives deep as I can go until 40m but they didn't care at all. They have just put everyone together, and we went not more than 18m (which is the level of an OW). Third, we saw nothing, like they brought us to 2 dive spots where there was only rocks and not a single life. At the end, we saw a ray that was sleeping and the photographer of the group has stayed in front of the ray taking pictures of each divers with the animal. It wasn't even possible to see the animal.... There was a photographer to take pictures of you and then sell it to you. It's not about the dives, it's about selling you something. It's not about the love of the marine life. It's a business. Finally, I have paid 2 dives almost 200USD, for this price it's a shame to offer this kind of prestation. I was disappointed about the level of the guides in the water also, they don't care about doing safety stops, they just go outside the water before finishing the 3min stop. My BCD didn't have the higher dump valve and we didn't know the depth in our equipment only the pressure. If you like diving, I will recommend you to go somewhere else as you will be very disappointed after diving with Aguas Claras

I completed three days of diving during my five-day stay in Fernando de Noronha, and all three two-tank dives were amazing. The team provided plenty of staff support and attentive service throughout. The boat was clean, and all the equipment was well prepared and ready to use.
