Chalok Reef Divers | Diving Centre

We had an amazing experience with this dive school! I’m already OWD certified and did a one-day course together with a friend who had never dived before. We were picked up directly from our accommodation, and even a last-minute change of pickup location (because we switched hotels) was handled without any problems – super flexible and professional. After going through the theory and getting familiar with the equipment, we practiced everything in the pool before heading out for two boat dives. What made this experience truly special was that we had our instructor, Ylenia, all to ourselves. She explained everything clearly, was incredibly patient, and made us feel safe and confident at all times. On the boat, she even took the time to guide us through setting up our equipment ourselves, which we really appreciated. Both dives were fantastic, and we saw a huge variety of fish and marine life. A big thank you again – I can highly recommend this dive school to anyone, whether you’re a beginner or already certified!

I had an amazing stay at Chalok Reef Divers! The hostel is brand new, and everything feels fresh, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The bed was incredibly comfortable — honestly one of the best I’ve had while traveling. I also loved that each bed had its own outlet with integrated USB ports, which made charging devices super convenient. The diving experience itself was top-notch. The diving school has been running for about a year, and you can really see the professionalism and quality. After completing my Open Water Diver course, I originally planned to fly to Chiang Mai — I even had my flight booked — but I ended up canceling it just so I could stay and complete my Advanced Open Water Diver course as well. That alone says everything about how good it was. My instructor Ana was fantastic — patient, knowledgeable, and made me feel completely safe and confident underwater. After finishing my AOWD, I also did a fun dive with Jesse, which was another great experience. The whole team is clearly passionate about diving, and it shows in every detail. A special thank you as well to June at reception, who was truly the nicest person ever! She made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived and was always ready to help with a smile. If you’re looking for a place that combines a comfortable, modern hostel stay with high-quality diving and genuinely amazing people, this is it. Highly, highly recommend — I’ll definitely be back!

Exceptional Diving Experience – Beyond Koh Tao Standards! We had an incredible time with Chalok Divers and can’t recommend them enough! If you are looking for a professional and personal diving vibe, this is the place. The 3S-Trip: We booked the 3S-Trip to Southwest Pinnacle, Sail Rock, and Samran Pinnacle. Even though we couldn’t dive Samran due to the weather, the trip was fantastic and very well organized. • Note for others: This specific trip runs every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday! The Team (Tim & Anna): A huge thanks to Tim and Anna. They were super professional, kind, and provided a level of service that clearly exceeds the usual standard on Koh Tao. We also really appreciated that they provide dive computers for everyone—a great safety standard! The Office (June): Special thanks to June! Her customer service is truly extraordinary—she is so warm-hearted, welcoming, and gave us excellent advice. She makes you feel at home the moment you enter the shop. •To the Boss: Whatever you are paying June, she definitely deserves a raise! ;) She is an absolute gem and a true asset to your team. We felt perfectly taken care of and will definitely be back. Thank you for making our time on Koh Tao so special!
