Cenote Xunaan Ha ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4.5/5) If you’re staying in Chemuyil or anywhere near the jungle communities off the …
Beautiful open air cenote that is in a great location in close proximity to other cenotes in the area. Two platforms to jump from. Water is crystal clear and so refreshing after a short walk from the parking area. If you take goggles, you can look to the left side of the cenote (under the tallest platform) and see into the cavern where it connects to other cenotes. Not overly crowded :)
Visited this Cenote as part of a Cenote Tour with Mexican Kan Eco-Tours on 2026-02-02. This Cenote was our first stop around 9 am and we were the only people there for our visit which was lovely and peaceful. There are strict rules about what you can bring into the Cenote area and no backpacks, sunscreen, water bottles, etc. are allowed. I just took my phone and camera and left the rest of my stuff in the tour van. The Cenote itself is an open water type surrounded by jungle and mangroves. There were two places you could jump into the water and two ladders. The water at this Cenote was the cleanest and clearest I have seen in any Cenote I’ve visited (which has been a lot)! You could see all the way to the bottom. The vibrant colour was also so beautiful. I enjoyed swimming and snorkelling here. It was a cool morning and the water actually felt warmer than the outside air temperature. I loved how well maintained this Cenote and property were. It is one of my favourite open water cenotes that I’ve been to. Gorgeous! Will definitely return and recommend to others.
